Low intermediate

Nouns and Phrases 

  • You will learn how to talk about people, groups, and objects. 
  • You will be able to create correct noun phrases, ensuring agreement between determiners (un, el…), nouns, and adjectives. 

Adjectives 

  • You will be able to describe things with qualifying adjectives and their shortened forms (e.g., bueno → buen, primero → primer). 
  • You will know how to use different degrees of adjectives to compare things. 
  • You will be able to create exclamatory phrases like “qué + adjective”by modifying adjectives with adverbs. 

Pronouns 

  • You will be able to use subject, direct object, and indirect object pronouns correctly. 
  • You will learn reflexive, impersonal, and relative pronouns. 
  • You will understand how to use formal vs. informal forms (tĂş/usted). 
  • You will review interrogative pronouns (who, which) and exclamatory pronouns (what, how).  

Possessives and Demonstratives 

  • You will express ownership using possessive adjectives and pronouns (mi, mĂ­o, el mĂ­o). 
  • You will use demonstratives to point out objects (este, ese, aquel). 

Numbers and Quantifiers 

  • You will review cardinal and ordinal numbers (up to the tenth). 
  • You will be able to use indefinite pronouns (algo, alguien, nada, nadie) and quantifiers (mucho, tanto, todo). 

Prepositions and Adverbs 

  • You will learn how to describe place, time, quantity, and sequence (primero, despuĂ©s, finalmente). 
  • You will understand expressions like ya no, todavĂ­a no, and aĂşn no. 

Interjections 

  • You will learn how to use interjections for emotions (¡ah!, ¡oh!, ¡eh!) and expressions like ¡Ojalá! 

Verbs 

  • You will consolidate present tense forms, including irregular and reflexive verbs. 
  • You will learn how to speak about the past and how to use the different types of past tenses: historic present, present perfect, simple past, and imperfect. 
  • You will understand the differences between past tenses. 
  • You will be able give instructions using regular and irregular imperatives, including reflexive forms and pronouns. 
  • You will be introduced to simple conditional expressions (deberĂ­as + infinitive). 
  • You will understand differences in using ser and estar. 

Clauses and Subordinate Clauses 

  • You will form simple sentences with subject-verb variation, including verbs like gustar and doler. 
  • You will use clauses to express desire (¡ojalá!) and impersonal constructions with se. 
  • You will use noun clauses (querer + infinitive, querer que + subjunctive), relative clauses (el que, la que), and adverbial clauses (temporal, causal, final, conditional, comparative). 

Giving and Asking for Information 

  • You will be able to give and ask for personal information, time, food, products, prices, reasons, and purposes. 

Describing and Narrating 

  • You will be able to describe objects, people, and situations. 
  • You will narrate daily routines, ongoing actions, past events, and historical events. 
  • You will compare objects, people, personalities, and past vs. present situations. 
  • You will locate actions in time and relate events logically. 

Expressing Opinions, Attitudes, and Knowledge 

  • You will be able to express, justify, and evaluate opinions. 
  • You will express difficulties and defend abilities. 
  • You will generalize and explain ideas clearly. 

Expressing Tastes, Desires, and Emotions 

  • You will talk about tastes, preferences, and feelings. 
  • You will be able to express different emotions.  
  • You will talk about intentions, plans, and projects. 

Socializing 

  • You will greet, say goodbye, apologize, introduce yourself formally or informally, and congratulate others. 

Organising a Discussion 

  • You will be able to start coversations, react, start a story, organize information, and manage interruptions.
